Mindless Monday

Good Monday morning!

I had hoped for many, many more pics in the Gallery today, but once again it was slim pickins around Faulkner Farms (circa 1842). Don't worry. Things are bound to pick up with summer fast approaching. (That's what I keep telling myself.)

RANDOMNESS #1 - I brushed my teeth with DEP Styling Gel this weekend. I did not die. I did not even get sick. However, two days after the brushing, I can still taste DEP Styling Gel. I may have to eat chocolate bon bons today to get the taste out of my mouth.

RANDOMNESS #2 - The following is a conversation I had with my Mother this weekend.

Mother - "You know. I always put off buying new clothes and dressing more stylish until tomorrow or next week or next month. NOW is the time to look good. You should do that, too."

Me - "So what you're really saying is you hate the blouse I'm wearing... right?"

Mother - "Oh, yes. Very much."

RANDOMNESS #3 - With only three more days of school left, the Faulkner Five are eagerly awaiting summer break. We are weary. I remember when I was a kid. I was ready for school to end. I was tired. But I never recall my Mother saying, "I am so tired from this school year. I need a break from school."

(This may be a sign I'm a little over-involved in my childrens' lives. Nah! That can't be it!)

RANDOMNESS #4 - The Boy informed me last night he was going to have "people" take care of his banking, personal finances, taxes, etc. He is also planning on having "people" do any and all car maintenance from now on. His "people" will start keeping his calendar and making his appointments. His "people" will call my "people" about holidays, luncheons, etc.

I have to admit, I'm a little bitter my 20 year-old son is planning on having "people" before I do.

If anyone deserves "people," it is ME!
